Inventory Control Technician
The role of an Inventory Control Technician involves compiling and maintaining accurate records of physical and virtual product inventories. This includes daily activities such as cycle counting, investigating claims and accounts administration within the facility.
About the Role:
1. Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock checks and record updates
2. Investigate damages, inventory discrepancies and shrinkage issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
3. Locate products to ensure correct identification, conduct cycle counts regularly and assist in physical inventories
4. Review stock numbers, pallet IDs, authorised substitutes and other listed information with manuals and product lists to verify accuracy of outbound orders
5. Review files to identify unused items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged products
6. Operate licenced and non-licenced MHE, including scissor lift to 10m
