Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geospatial Professional to join our team. This role will focus on implementing, maintaining and managing underground mine surveying activities, ensuring statutory compliance across the site and providing guidance to the open pit survey team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct and ensure underground and open pit survey work is completed in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations.
* Maintain accurate mine model updates and prepare development memos for planned development.
* Manage diamond drill collars and directions, check surveys as the mine development advances, and calculate end of month volumes and advance.
* Provide accurate information for weekly and monthly planning to the underground mining team and participate in developing and implementing production plans.
* Conduct surface surveys as required, including stockpile and dump pickups, surface excavation pickups, and prism monitoring.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Surveying or related field.
* Grade 1 Authorised Mine Surveyors Certificate.
* Competency in mine software, preferably Deswik or Surpac, and experience with equipment such as Leica, Trimble, Optech, CMS, and Drones.
* Familiarity with Windows packages including Word, Outlook, Excel, and a current WA Manual Drivers Licence.
* At least 2 years open pit survey experience and 3-5+ years underground survey experience.
