About the role
We're looking for a dedicated WHS/Training Coordinator to join our team. This role is all about building trust and working closely with our team to ensure safe practices for all.
In this role, you'll:
* Design, develop, and manage our safety management systems.
* Create and roll out clear, fit-for-purpose safety documents across the organisation.
* Lead the safety committee, run safety meetings, and support staff across all sites.
* Carry out regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, turning lessons learned into improvements.
* Develop Youth Futures onboarding induction and facilitate.
* Assist in the development of policies and procedures.
* WHS Reporting
* Keep up to date with industry standards and recommend ways we can do even better.
* Share safety information with internal and external stakeholders in a way that's simple and engaging.
About you
You care about people first and bring a practical, solutions-focused approach. You can connect with diverse teams and make complex safety information clear and meaningful.
You'll also have:
* Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety (essential).
* Cert IV Training & Assessing (desirable).
* ICAM or Audit qualifications (desirable).
* Previous experience in a dedicated WHS/Training role.
* Great communication skills and the ability to engage people at all levels.
