Riverside Christian College is a rapidly growing Prep – 12 independent Christian College located in Maryborough, Queensland providing both Day School and Distance Education.

Riverside is seeking someone to fill the position of Secondary Chemistry Teacher to commence Term 1, 2026 for a 15 month contract.The role reports to the Deputy Principal and requires a strong focus on providing an outstanding teaching program which meets the needs of all students.
To be considered for this position, applicants must fit the below position requirements:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated experience and teaching qualifications in Science.
- Hold a current QCT Registration.
- Demonstrated experience working with Australian Curriculum.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prepare and deliver effective programs to support students consistent with Government regulations, the College pedagogy, relevant syllabi, curriculum policy and work programs.
- Knowledge and demonstrated ability to deliver programs through the establishment of a challenge learning environment including the use of information technology to maximise student outcome, whilst managing student behaviour.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated involvement in extra-curricular activities.
- Possess strong Christian character and support the College Christian values.
