About The Role
Joining the SNK Group as a Heavy Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy machinery. This full-time role will require travel to different sites across Newcastle, Hunter and Central Coast and will see you working on a variety of plant and equipment.
What You'll Be Doing
Carry out scheduled maintenance and servicing on a range of heavy plant equipment
Diagnose and repair faults and breakdowns in a timely manner
Perform inspections and tests to identify potential issues before they arise
Maintain detailed records of all work completed
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications
What We're Looking For
Formal qualification in Cert III Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent, and onsite experience
Extensive experience in servicing and repairing Crusher and Screen machinery
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to high standards of workmanship
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Current driver's licence and ability to operate a range of plant equipment
