**Salary package**:$118,003 - $123,640 per annum plus 17% superannuation
**Term**: Full time, Continuing (a gradual increase in hours will be considered)

**The Position**
This position is for an administrative leader in an academic Centre (Australian National Centre for Public Awareness of Science or 'CPAS') known for its cutting edge research and teaching on science/society relationships. The position reports to and works alongside the Centre Director to achieve the strategic aims of the Centre, ensure operational continuity, and contribute to the sustainable functioning of the Centre. This position will lead a small team and work collaboratively with the College of Science administrative teams to administer finance, research support services, HDR administration, student administration, routine HR, and offer support to the Director. This position is perfect for the administrative leader who enjoys variety and is eager for familiarity with a range of University functions at the Centre/School level.
This is a key role in a friendly, motivated team providing an encouraging and supportive environment while delivering high quality outcomes.
With no two days being the same, this role is integral to the delivery/support of the National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science and its Director. The work will encompass administrative functions internal to the ANU as well as stakeholder engagement with partners outside the University.
