Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Specialist
The Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Specialist plays a critical role in driving the technical strategy and execution across the sales cycle to support revenue growth, customer success, and solution adoption.
This specialist is responsible for educating customers and partners on modern security capabilities and the evolving threat landscape, building deep consultative relationships, and identifying security challenges within customer environments.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Educate customers and partners on Forescout's security solutions and the evolving threat landscape.
* Build deep, consultative relationships with customers and partners, aligning Forescout's solutions with their business and technical objectives.
* Identify security challenges within customer environments and engage effectively across technical and management stakeholders.
* Present Forescout's value proposition, product roadmap, and strategy confidently to various audiences.
* Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations virtually and in-person, collaborating with the sales team.
* Support technical pre-sales activities, qualifying new opportunities through to closure.
* Enable channel partners in a channel-centric sales model.
* Manage proof-of-concept (POC) activities, including test plan optimization, configuration adjustments, and issue resolution during evaluation.
* Assist in POC environment development and configuration, aligned with account team goals and resource availability.
* Support customers through technical escalations, bridging sales, support, and engineering teams for successful resolution and satisfaction.
* Achieve and maintain relevant certifications, actively participating in ongoing enablement.
* Stay current with Forescout's 4D Platform and related technologies through training and enablement.
About the Ideal Candidate:
* 8+ years of experience in IT, with 5+ years in pre-sales or technical consulting roles.
* Passion for cybersecurity solutions and enthusiasm for hands-on testing and customer engagement.
* Strong technical skills, presentation abilities, and written communication expertise.
