This is a pivotal leadership role that blends technical expertise, project management, and stakeholder engagement to deliver high-quality, compliant, and constructible design outcomes.What You'll DoLead the design process from concept to statutory approvals, ensuring alignment with client vision and project goals.Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary internal design team, fostering collaboration and performance.Coordinate external consultants, architects, and engineers to deliver integrated design solutions.Ensure all documentation complies with building codes, safety standards, and construction methodologies.Collaborate with pre-construction and project teams to align design with budget, sequencing, and timelines.Proactively manage design risks, approvals, and changes to maintain project integrity.Engage stakeholders across all levels to ensure clear communication and alignment.Contribute to tenders and business development with design insights and value-engineering strategies.Champion innovation and digital design practices (e.g., BIM) to enhance outcomes.What You'll BringTertiary qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.Minimum 5 years' experience in a design management role.Strong understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC) – Building Classes 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.Proficiency in design and project management tools (e.g., REVIT, PROCORE).
