We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional Dental Receptionist to join our modern, friendly, referral-based specialist practice in Wollongong.
Our clinic focuses on high-quality, comprehensive specialist dental care, with particular emphasis on prosthodontics, dental implants, All-on-X, cosmetic dentistry, and smile makeovers. We pride ourselves on exceptional patient experiences, attention to detail, and working as a close-knit, supportive team.
This is a full-time position, primarily based at reception. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Answering phone calls and managing enquiries
* Scheduling and managing appointments
* Processing payments and handling accounts at reception
* Providing a warm, professional, and reassuring experience for patients
* Front office and general reception duties
* Assisting with administrative tasks as required
* Working closely with clinicians and auxiliary staff to support patient care
We are looking for someone who is professional, organised, and takes pride in their work.
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience in dental reception
* Experience with D4W software (preferred but not essential)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with patients
* A strong work ethic and high level of professionalism
* The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
* Strong time management and multitasking skills
* Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks autonomously
* Confidence using computers and practice management systems
* A well-presented, friendly, organised, and reliable manner
