The Position
As Pre Delivery Technician, the function of this role is to inspect and validate the suitability/compliance of Vehicles to Customer and Legislative requirements, as well as ensuring the product is fitted to Vehicles in accordance with specified plans, meeting Customer, Quality and Safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Pre-Delivery tasks/ inspections in accordance with set instructions/ standards
- Fit-out (Customisation) of Vehicles as per plan and/or instructed
- Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
- Perform required quality checks and be accountable for the workmanship of performed work
- Ensure that required records are completed accurately and submitted on time
About You
- Mechanical Trade (or part thereof) qualified preferred but not necessary
- General automotive diagnostic and automotive accessory fitment experience required
- Dealership servicing experience ideal but not necessary
- Experience in servicing all makes and models ideal but not necessary
- A good eye for detail and problem-solving skills highly sought after
- Diagnostic problem solving ability
- Manual Open Drivers licence a pre-requisite to employment
