Behaviour Support Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team. As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and implementing behaviour support strategies to improve the quality of life for individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct specialist assessment and intervention services, including functional behaviour assessments, writing and development of behaviour support plans, and discipline-specific assessments and interventions.
* Deliver funded specialist services for capacity building under NDIS plans to internal and external clients.
* Engage with clients to develop effective clinical intervention and therapeutic treatments based on quality assessment and evidence-based practice standards.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the disability field with clients who have significant complex support needs.
* Experience with Allied Health professionals (Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Social Workers).
* Experience in functional behavioural assessment and behaviour support plan development and writing, including risk strategies and skills development planning for young people and adults with complex support needs.
