We have a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher LND Support (Literacy Numeracy and Digital support) to join the team at GOTAFE. In this role, you'll work closely with vocational teachers across a variety of VET areas, co-delivering classes, running targeted workshops, and creating tailored learning materials aligned to training package requirements. You'll also contribute to the continuous improvement of LLN support by adapting to departmental needs and maintaining the quality and relevance of our programs.
As the successful candidate you will have:
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/22) or a qualification at diploma level or higher in Adult Education
* A recognised and accredited Adult Language and/or Numeracy and Literacy teaching qualification at AQF7 or above and relevant vocational competencies to demonstrate expertise in teaching literacy and or numeracy.
* Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
* Proven digital literacy skills.
If you are successful in this role you will be required to provide:
* A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date)
* A current Victorian Working with Children Check - Employee (or proof of application)
* A current Driver's Licence (Car).
The salary for this position is from L1.1 to L3.5 under the Victorian TAFE Teaching Staff Agreement 2024.
