Salary: Competitive industry salary commencing at $35.41 per hour plus 12% superannuation.ResponsibilitiesWork within the Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework and curriculum frameworks.Develop and maintain positive reciprocal relationships with and between children, families and educators.Initiate and promote warm and intentional interactions with children as a core learning strategy.With team members, document children's learning both individually and as part of a group.Contribute to the development and delivery of curriculums within the learning program.Qualifications and RequirementsCertificate III in Children's Services or equivalent, as recognised by the Department of Education and Training and in accordance with the Education and Care National Law Act 2010 & the Education and Care National Services Regulations 2011.Strong understanding of Child Protected Standards, National Quality Framework and curriculum frameworks.Ability to establish and maintain strong professional relationships with children, families and colleagues.Ability to self-manage work requirements in liaison with room team and supervisor.Current and/or willingness to obtain: Working With Children Check, First Aid Level 2, CPR Certificate, Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management certificates.How to ApplyApplications must be submitted through our online system My Portal and should align with the Moonee Valley City Council Application Guide found at the bottom of the advertisement.
