Primarily as Fleet Manager at Tegra Australia, however other duties include:- workshop staff supervision, workshop work
allocation, servicing customer needs, work in a safe manner, operate plant and equipment, oversee maintenance of plant
and equipment, maintain a clean presentable workplace, completing clerical duties, any other duties as directed and to work
and co-operate as a productive team member of the Tegra group.
Hands on Duties Include but are not limited to:
* 'Lead-from-the-front' strong health and safety management style;
* Supervise the daily operations of the workshop, work allocation and staff supervision;
* Oversee maintenance, servicing and repairs to mobile plant – agitator trucks; truck & dog, semi-trailer and B-double
combination haulage trucks; tipper and flat top trucks; front end loaders; forklifts and other mobile and fixed plant;
* Ensure the maintenance, servicing and repair of all plant and equipment is in accordance with Tegra's NHVAS Policy
and Tegra Maintenance Procedures and the requirements of the NHVAS for Maintenance Management;
* Supervise trainee/apprentice employees;
* Ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with company policy and NHVAS requirements;
* Have all documentation completed and ready for auditing and inspection as required by NHVAS Maintenance
Management;
* Address all non-conformances in relation to NHVAS Maintenance Management;
* Research of and purchase of parts and equipment;
* Housekeeping duties such as maintaining a clean and presentable workplace, workshop and amenities;
Administrative Duties Include:
* Accurately complete, maintain and compile reports within the Fleet Management software;
* Issue purchase orders, submit and approve invoices, timesheets etc,
* Complete WHS documentation;
* Accurately complete all NHVAS Maintenance Management documentation;
* Issue and follow up internal non-conformances;
General:
* Commit to always providing the highest level of company service;
* Ensure at all times you are appropriately dressed and presented in accordance with company policy and procedure;
* Conduct yourself in a proper and professional manner in accordance with company policy and procedure;
* Work in a safe manner in accordance with company WHS policy and procedures;
* Attend training seminars or courses as required;
* Complete in-house induction and training;
Qualifications and experience:
* Hold a current Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence - preferable.
* Competency for load shifting operations and forklift operator's licence preferable;
* Knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme;
* Comprehensively computer literate
* Hold the appropriate Automotive Mechanical Technology qualification; mandatory
* Budgeting, cost control and PnL management
Reporting:
* Report directly to the 'General Manager' or in his absence to senior management;
* Liaise with the 'Area Manager - Concrete' and 'Sales Manager– Bulk' regarding servicing, maintenance and
breakdown of plant and equipment.
