Offer description

Join our team of passionate mental health nurses on the Mornington Peninsula

Avive Health – Avive Clinic Mornington Peninsula

* Registered Nurses (RNs) and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EENs) with mental health nursing experience or a desire to specialise
* Mount Eliza location – peaceful surrounds, easy access
* Immediate casual positions with opportunity to progress with part-time or permanent

Avive is growing, and we're looking for experienced mental health nurses to grow with us.

As a clinician-led, trauma-informed private mental health provider, Avive was designed differently from day one: purpose-built environments, advanced technology that supports meaningful care, and a culture grounded in respect, collaboration and genuine compassion.

Our Mornington Peninsula hospital is firmly established and rapidly expanding. With new psychiatrists joining our team and our programs consistently operating at strong levels, we're welcoming Registered Nurses and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to support us to deliver exceptional mental health care to meet increasing community demand.

Whether you're an experienced mental health nurse or you're ready to step into this specialty with the right guidance behind you – we'd love to hear from you.

Why join Avive?

* Supportive culture with hands-on, present nurse leadership
* Innovative, tech-enabled systems – less admin, more time for care
* Structured, confidence-building orientation for all new starters
* A genuine commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred practice
* Opportunities to grow into education, program coordination or leadership roles
* A values-led organisation where your ideas and expertise shape our future

About the role

We're seeking passionate RNs and EENs with mental health qualifications or experience to join our multidisciplinary inpatient team. You'll be supported to provide best-practice care to adults receiving treatment in our mental health, substance use, trauma and dual diagnosis programs.

You'll work closely with psychiatrists, nursing, allied health and support staff in a positive environment where collaboration is the norm – and where your contribution genuinely matters.

Shifts are available across a 7-day roster, including morning, afternoon and night duty.

What you bring

* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
* Postgraduate qualification in mental health nursing or experience working in mental health
* Strong teamwork, compassion and communication skills
* A commitment to high-quality, person-centred nursing
* Police check (or willingness to obtain)
