Qualifications & experience
* Qualified Accountant with at least 1 years of experience working in Australia.
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
* Proficient in using Xero, XPM, QBO and MS Office.
* Experience in public practice is preferred.
* Xero certified is preferred but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Tasks & responsibilities
* Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and super funds.
* Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS).
* Perform end-to-end bookkeeping functions including employee payroll, PAYG withholding, superannuation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
* Prepare business management reports.
* Attend to clients and take instructions.
