The Company
My client is a locally owned and operated civil construction company that offers a wide range of services across various sectors, including civil, commercial, industrial, and environmental. With extensive experience in both large-scale projects and minor works, their team delivers comprehensive solutions, ranging from design and construction to specialised civil, road, and rail works.
The Role
We***\u****re seeking a skilled Project Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager. In this role, you\u****ll be working closely with the Construction Manager, COO and other Project Managers on various civil projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables. You\u****ll need to have a strong working knowledge of civil construction elements such as bulk earthworks, subdivisions, urban regeneration, road and urban spaces construction, and underground services.
The Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
Provide efficient management of civil construction projects, working closely with key stakeholders and Site Supervisors
Ensure that the project meets program deliverables, targets and key project milestones as set by the contract, Implementation plan, programme and clients
Ensure that all testing and hold points are documented in the ITP as per the Program and Specification
Efficiently procure materials/supplies and subcontractors in line with the purchasing procedures of the organisation
Writing and reviewing site documents including SWMSs and JSEAs to ensure that they are site specific
Setting the benchmark for Work Health and Safety practices on site and implementing company policy and procedures
The Candidate
You will have a Bachelor\u****s Degree in Construction Management or similar with minimum 10 years experience in civil construction elements such as bulk earthworks, subdivisions, urban regeneration, road and urban spaces construction, and underground services.
