About the role:
Our workshop campus in Southport is looking for a Painting and Decorating trainer who can pass on their knowledge and experience. Due to popular demand for this course, we are seeking someone to join our team in an ongoing role that allows plenty of time for you to still work in the industry and train others at the same time.
You will be supported with an attractive remuneration package that will be tailored to experience and will include ongoing training and workplace flexibility, together with career progression opportunities including increased responsibilities and the potential to move into a more senior role.

What we need from you:
* Hands-on experience: Years of painting and decorating know-how.
* A teaching qualification: A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or hold the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A unit TAEASS502 unit, or a higher-level adult education qualification.
* Good communication skills: The ability to explain things clearly.
* A positive attitude: A can-do spirit.
What you'll be doing:
* Teaching people the skills of painting and decorating
* Assessing students' skills
* Helping to create and update training materials
* Mentoring and supporting students
* Staying up-to-date with industry trends
