Job Description
The Tour Guide position is all about:
* Understand the detail of permits to operate tours and ensure departments compliance with the conditions of permits through operational activities
* Present information and interpretation on all tours to the required standard
* Ensure cleanliness and safety of vehicles/vessels prior to conducting tours and prior to the completion of shift
* Ensure personal presentation and grooming is to the required standard (refer to company grooming policy)
* Proactively participate in Tour department briefings
* Actively support indigenous engagement and employment within the department
* Deliver tourism experiences that increase visitor numbers and extend visitor stay
* Upsell other services and facilities of the property/park to visitors and guests at all opportunities
* Demonstrate awareness of WH&S standards and procedures
* Participate in scheduled operation procedure and training
Qualifications
What are we seeking?
* Open driver's license (must have at the commencement of employment)
* Senior First Aid Certificate (must have at the commencement of employment)
* Nature or site seeing marine permit (exemption 13)
* H Endorsement passenger vehicle license (must have at the commencement of employment or process to obtain started)
