Are you a passionate customer-obsessed leader with a desire to influence business growth? The Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) team works directly with Retail vendors to improve value, selection, and convenience across their Amazon business.
We are seeking Brand Analysts to act as Strategic Account Managers, owning the client-facing relationship with supply partners and driving their success in e-commerce. You will influence building and executing joint business plans with your Vendor and collaborating with them to explore innovative merchandising, operational, and selection improvement opportunities.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, account management, and/or vendor management skills, be able to deliver on commitments, manage workflows in a fast-paced work environment, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Above all, they should demonstrate high ownership and ability to navigate ambiguity.
Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Identify and improve business input metrics that drive growth and end customer experience in collaboration with other Amazon programs and teams.
2. Execute tactical support requests for Vendor, such as issue troubleshooting, data reporting, supply chain, and catalogue management.
3. Demonstrate excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently while using centralized resources and procedures.
4. Build strong relationships with the Vendor; be a trusted advisor and central contact for issues, questions, requests, escalations, and concerns.
5. Liaise with other internal departments as necessary to resolve Vendor issues and questions quickly and with high quality.
6. Teach Vendors how to be more successful on Amazon through training on tools and policies and educating them on relevant growth opportunities.
7. Collaborate and explore innovative ways to identify and execute new product selection, brand management, promotional strategies, operational efficiencies, and reporting analysis for your vendors.
8. Work with varied stakeholders across AVS and wider Amazon teams to drive the best possible outcomes for strategic vendors and customers.
9. Lead planning and performance sessions with your strategic vendors and serve as their main point of contact at Amazon.

A Day in the Life:
You will learn and use a wide range of skills working across major functional areas: Vendor management, In-stock management, Content management.
The initial onboarding program consists of an Orientation week and AVS Functional Training curriculum where graduates gain technical experience required for the Brand Analyst role.
The BASIC QUALIFICATIONS require you to be in the final semester/trimester of a university undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or have completed a tertiary qualification within the last 24 months.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS include prior experience in Retail, Consulting, or Finance, managing multiple stakeholders or working in data analytics.
