As our
Management Accounting Coordinator
, you'll lead a small, high-performing team responsible for budgeting, financial performance analysis, forecasting and modelling. You'll partner with leaders across Council to provide meaningful insights that drive strategic decisions and long-term sustainability.
This is more than a numbers role, it's an opportunity to influence the financial direction of a progressive local government while enjoying genuine work-life balance in the heart of Noosa.
In this role, you will:
* Lead the delivery of Council's annual budget and management reporting cycle.
* Drive strategic financial planning, forecasting and long-term modelling.
* Collaborate with senior leaders as a trusted business partner.
* Guide and develop a motivated team committed to excellence.
* Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency and improvement.
You'll bring:
* A degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related field (CPA/CA highly regarded).
* Strong experience in management accounting, budgeting and financial performance analysis.
* Advanced financial modelling and ERP systems expertise.
* Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.
* A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for driving results.
