Job Opportunity: Classroom Teacher (Maternity Leave Replacement)
St. Patrick's is seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and enthusiastic teacher to join our highly professional and collaborative team for a classroom position. This role is a maternity leave replacement (current class: Prep) for 12 months, starting at the beginning of Term 3, 2025.
Special Requirements
The successful applicant must:
* be committed to the Catholic ethos
* be accredited to teach Religious Education
* hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration
* be willing to actively contribute to school and parish life
* possess excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards ongoing professional learning
* be willing to work collaboratively within a learning team
* demonstrate an understanding of the Science of Learning and its application to effective classroom practice
* demonstrate understanding of MAC's Vision for Instruction
* use technologies purposefully to enhance student engagement and learning
* use data effectively to inform and improve student learning, aligned with evidence-based practices
Knowledge of Structured Literacy within a Knowledge-Rich Curriculum would be an advantage.
