Engineering Team Lead – Managed Technology
Location: Sydney (Hybrid)
Reporting to: Head of Technical Operations
Infotrust is seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to lead our senior (L3) engineering capability within Managed Technology. This role suits a technically strong leader who enjoys balancing complex operational delivery with people leadership and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support L3 engineers resolving complex incidents and major outages within SLA
* Maintain stability and performance of managed services platforms
* Balance BAU support with delivery of technical project work
* Work closely with Service Desk leadership to maintain queue health and reduce escalations
* Ensure changes are delivered safely through appropriate governance
* Drive continuous improvement to reduce repeat issues and operational risk
* Provide senior technical input to presales when required
* Coach, develop and performance‐manage senior engineers
* Participate in an on‐call rotation for escalated after‐hours support (as required)
Skills and Experience
* Strong background in senior technical engineering roles (L3 or equivalent)
* Experience leading or mentoring engineers in MSP or complex IT environments
* Broad technical knowledge across infrastructure, cloud, networking and security
* Solid understanding of incident, problem and change management practices
* Calm, structured approach during high‐pressure incidents
* Clear communicator able to engage both technical and non‐technical stakeholders
