The Opportunity

As the Executive Assistant to the Director, Building Projects, you'll be the person who keeps things moving—coordinating priorities, managing key workflows, and ensuring the Director is always prepared and supported.
You'll work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, building strong professional relationships and representing the directorate with warmth and professionalism. If you enjoy taking ownership, juggling varied tasks, and bringing clarity to a busy environment, this role offers the opportunity to shine, grow, and be a valued part of a high-performing team.
About You
You understand how government programs work and you're confident communicating with people at all levels. You're organised, detail-minded and able to keep things on track, even when deadlines are tight. You take initiative, think things through, and provide clear, reliable advice that helps others make good decisions. Special Conditions
* A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
* Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

Temporary appointment up to two (2) years
Remuneration
ASO4 - $76,561 to $80,256 pa + superannuation
