OO6 Program Supervisor Temporary role Start ASAP Opportunity to work in Government The Client Our Client is a Cairns based Government Department focused on infrastructure of QLD. The Opportunities We are seeking an experienced and motivated Program Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the management of client programs, ensuring smooth operations, timely delivery, and maintaining strong communication with both internal and external stakeholders. If you have a trade background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for ensuring successful project outcomes, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing client programs, working closely with operational supervisors to ensure success. Report to management and clients on the status of maintenance programs, including tracking budgets, expenditures, and delivery timeframes. Liaise with clients on works still in the tender stage and provide updates as required. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through regular meetings, phone calls, Microsoft Teams, and emails. Provide professional advice on cost-effective, sustainable solutions tailored to client needs and budgets. Review documentation and quotes to ensure alignment with client briefs before submission. Utilize computer skills, including Excel, for reporting and documentation tasks. About You Requirements: This role is best suited for candidates already based in Cairns or nearby areas within a comfortable commuting distance, as it is not a FIFO position and may not be ideal for relocation. Trade qualification in a construction-related field (highly desirable). Current Workplace Health & Safety General Safety Induction Card. Basic computer skills with experience in Excel. Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
