Senior Sous & Sous Chefs | Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sous & Sous Chef to lead our team in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of dishes, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining, with experience in managing teams and leading kitchen operations. You will be expected to maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation, while also driving innovation and creativity in our menu offerings.

About the Role:

* Lead a Team of Experienced Chefs: You will be responsible for guiding and mentoring our team of chefs, providing coaching and training to ensure they meet the highest standards.
* Kitchen Operations: You will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including inventory management, food preparation, and presentation.
* Menu Development: You will work closely with our culinary team to develop new menu ideas and concepts, ensuring they align with our brand's vision and values.
* Culture and Values: You will embody our company's culture and values, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment that supports the growth and development of our team members.

Requirements:

* Experience as a Senior Sous or Sous Chef: A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of Kitchen Operations: Strong understanding of kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety, and presentation standards.
* Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to challenges, while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.
* Education and Certifications: Formal education in culinary arts or equivalent, with relevant certifications (e.g., food safety, HACCP).
