About the Role: An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced HR Manager to join a well-established and highly regarded business based in Melbourne South East suburbs. This is a hands-on standalone role where you will take ownership of the full HR function, while also leading OH&S, quality systems and people initiatives across the organisation. This role will suit a proactive and commercially minded HR professional who enjoys variety, autonomy and partnering with leaders to create positive business outcomes. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle, while ensuring compliance, safety and continuous improvement across the business. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and appointment processes Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees Manage employee relations matters including performance management, investigations, terminations and offboarding Coordinate performance appraisal and remuneration review processes Review and improve HR policies, procedures and systems Prepare monthly and quarterly HR reporting Support leadership with people strategies aligned to business goals Health, Safety & Quality: Lead workplace safety initiatives, wellbeing programs and compliance activities Manage WorkCover claims and return-to-work processes Coordinate audits, accreditations, and responses to non-conformances Drive OHSEQ awareness and capability across the organisation Identify, mitigate and reduce workplace risks and injuries Maintain training, consultation, incident response and risk management systems To be Successful In This Role, You'll Bring: Proven experience in a similar HR Manager / standalone HR role Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice Experience managing employee relations matters confidently and fairly Exposure to OH&S, WorkCover, quality systems highly regarded Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to work autonomously Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, Psychology, or related discipline Experience and the ability to interpret Blue collar awards What’s on Offer: Standalone role with genuine ownership and autonomy Broad scope across HR, safety and organisational improvement Stable and supportive leadership team Opportunity to make a visible impact across the business Convenient Mulgrave location with onsite parking Contact Jenny Hiep on (jhiep@fourquarters.com.au) with an updated resume.
