About The Opportunity
This is the perfect opportunity for someone from a trade background who wants to step off the tools and into a dynamic sales and advisory role.As the Trade Sales Consultant, you'll be the first point of contact for trade customers, helping them find technical landscaping solutions and preparing accurate quotes that help them win more jobs.Reporting directly to the business owner, your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to technical enquiries via phone, email, and in-store
- Preparing and following up on quotes to secure new and repeat business
- Producing irrigation designs and BOMs (training provided)
- Assisting customers in the trade shopfront
- Building strong relationships with trade clients and suppliers
About You
- To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- 3+ years’ experience in a trade role or trade-based sales environment
- Experience in landscaping or irrigation (highly regarded)
- A relevant trade qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, solutions-focused attitude
- Solid initiative and ability to work autonomously
