QLD Community Care and Disability Contract (Full Time)
Disability support workers required for a variety of shifts across Brassal and Ipswich Region.
McArthur Community Care is a Registered NDIS Provider in Queensland. We specialise in delivering individualised and flexible supports through a holistic and person-centred approach to maintain independence and social connection with the community. We are committed to providing the highest quality of service to maintain people's independence, choice and control.
We are currently seeking reliable, motivated and professional Support Workers to join our casual team supporting NDIS participants in the Brassal and Ipswich areas. These roles involve providing person-centered support, including assistance with daily living activities, community access and, where required, personal care.
Immediate start is available for shifts across a 24/7 roster in both community support, in-home support and supported independent living.

Responsibilities
* Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming
* Household tasks: domestic assistance, cleaning and laundry, and meal prep
* Transport – transport to appointments, shopping and community access
* Hoisting (when needed)
Qualifications
* Right to work in Australia
* Relevant industry experience working with clients who have a physical/spinal disability
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support; Disability, Aged care or similar is desirable
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Card and Working with Children Check (Blue card)
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
* Current Manual Handling Certificate or willing to obtain
* Medication Certificates/experience will be favourable
* Valid Driver's Licence and Comprehensive Insurance
* Good availability is essential
Candidates with High Care experience will be viewed favourably.
