Our client is seeking an experienced full-time kindergarten teacher to join dedicated team of early childhood professionals providing care for 78 children aged 0-6. This role is leading the kinder room for 22 children in a long day care setting, supported by an educator and inclusion specialist and is a mixed group of 3 and 4 year old's. You will enjoy a flexible above award salary package with the option of 6-8 weeks of annual leave and time in lieu for professional development.
This position is eligible for incentives under the Department of Education's funded Kindergarten program. You could secure $21,000 to $38,000 in relocation incentivesto move to Mildura. Perched on the edge of the wild Australian outback, Mildura is an oasis on the Murray River boasting Mediterranean-style sunshine and a laid-back outdoor lifestyle.
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in implementing engaging learning experiences, building strong partnerships with families, and promoting children's growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a curriculum aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
* Assess and document children's learning and development
* Create a stimulating and safe learning environment
* Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture
A Degree in Early Childhood Education is essential for this role. While prior experience is preferred, we also encourage recent graduates to apply. To ensure the safety of our children, successful candidates must hold a current VIT, Working with Children Check and be prepared to undergo a criminal record check
