Power Medical Centre are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist for the role of 2IC to the Practice Manager. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Practice Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of this busy GP practice. Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, you will provide support for administrative and operational aspects of the practice, allowing the healthcare professionals to focus on providing the highest quality patient care.
What you'll be doing
1. Assist with management and coordination of the day-to-day operations of the practice, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
2. Oversee the practice team, providing leadership, support, and guidance to ensure optimal performance
3. Assist with implementing and maintaining effective systems and processes to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures
5. Provide excellent customer service and front desk support
6. Type documents as required
7. Assist the Practice Manager to develop and implement strategies to enhance the practice's reputation, patient experience, and overall performance
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a healthcare administration or leadership role
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with healthcare providers, staff, and patients
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on improving efficiency and patient outcomes
* Self-driven and able to demonstrate a genuine pride in all work produced
* Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve conflict
* Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
