In this role, you'll:
We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Mechanical Tradesperson Grade 1-3 (HV Mechanic preferred, but LV Mechanic with HV experience considered) to join our Maintenance and Delivery team in Dubbo, on a 9-day fortnight, working Monday to Friday.
You will undertake maintenance and repairs on a range of plant items, vehicles, and mechanical equipment. You should be comfortable with installation, maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and modification of complex machinery driven by hydraulic/pneumatic principles.
We promote an inclusive and collaborative environment to develop your skills and share knowledge. You may also supervise apprentices or assist other mechanics across the area.
Mechanical Tradesperson Grade 1-3 is multi-graded. The starting grade is based on skills and experience, with progression to higher grades being automatic upon demonstrating required capabilities.

About you
You are an ambitious, collaborative, qualified mechanical tradesperson who enjoys working independently. You have good problem-solving and fault diagnosis skills, and are proactive in handling customer complaints efficiently.
You prioritize safety, can identify, communicate, and report hazards, and understand quality requirements for tasks.
It is essential to have an Automotive Vehicle Mechanic Qualification with extensive experience in Heavy Vehicles & plant.
You must hold a current Construction Industry White Card and a NSW Motor Vehicle driver’s licence. A Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) licence is advantageous.
You should be willing to undertake any required licensing or ticketing as directed. Experience in welding and metal fabrication is highly desirable.
To be eligible, you must reside reasonably close to your designated depot, considering WH&S and fatigue management policies.
The wage range is $1,418.40 to $1,569.80 weekly, plus superannuation and allowances based on qualifications and experience.
