We aim to create an environment where staff are supported to do their best work while maintaining high standards of care.About our SDM role With exceptional support from our General Manager (Operations) and Directors, you will oversee operational service delivery while supporting staff performance, maintaining compliance standards in the field and ensuring services consistently meet client and stakeholder needs.Your responsibilities will focus on four core areas:Leadership and engagementLead and support a cohort of Care Coordinators and Team LeadersProvide mentoring, coaching and performance managementCommunicate recruitment needs internally (from the field), and liaise with staff to support onboarding and trainingDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and referrers alongside the Coordinators of our clientsService quality and complianceMaintain visibility of service delivery across all clientsProvide guidance on the management of complex client care and the implementation of restrictive practices (RPs)Ensure services meet all NDIS Practice Standards and reporting requirementsOversee incident reporting and reporting of RPs as requiredMaintain accurate documentation and client file standardsParticipate at a managerial level in all compliance audits (including internal)Operational coordination and improvementWork with rostering and administration teams to maintain service coverage Monitor client supports and funding allocationsManage escalated complaints or service concerns Identify when to escalate any incidents or issues to senior leadership/DirectorsContribute to service improvement initiatives and operational planningCoordinate care for a small cohort of NDIS clientsDirectly manage the care coordination (day to day) for a small number of NDIS clients in Brisbane, to balance your overall workload effectivelyWhat success looks like in this roleHigh client and staff satisfaction Strong service quality outcomesConsistent compliance with NDIS requirements and reporting timeframes across all teamsWell-supported and stable operational teamsReliable service delivery across all operational regionsAbout you You are a practical and experienced people manager who understands the realities of disability service delivery and can balance client outcomes, staff leadership and regulatory compliance.Ideally, you will bring:Experience in a senior operational or service delivery role within disability, aged care or mental healthAt least some experience working (directly or indirectly) with people living with complex health diagnosesClear, up-to-date understanding of NDIS service delivery and compliance requirementsExperience managing multidisciplinary teams in a service environmentExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilityDeveloped ability to 'manage up' to senior leadership when requiredA genuine commitment to person-centred practice and client rightsQualification in community services, social work, psychology or a related field Experience working within the NDIS and/or aged care sectors NDIS Worker Screening Check Blue Card National Police Check Open Driver Licence Ability to travel within South‐East Queensland when requiredApply now If you are an experienced disability services leader looking for a role where you can influence service quality and operational delivery, we encourage you to apply.Please submit your resume and a short cover letteroutlining your relevant experience.
