Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to serve in a leadership role on requirements projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the Capital Markets, Risk and Finance area of the bank, ensuring that business, organizational and/or system requirements are planned for, elicited, analyzed, validated, documented, reviewed, and tested.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead requirements review sessions with subject matter experts and prepare thorough requirements documentation.
* Ensure that requirements diagrams, models and definitions are complete, consistent, and meet the needs of the project.
* Develop a sound knowledge of the Bank's macro business processes and related applications.
* Perform quality assurance testing functions by designing and executing detailed test plans and test cases to verify that the software meets requirements.
* Take part in the weekly production support rotation for the initial triage of issues and ensure that issue impact, resolution and root cause are thoroughly documented.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in information systems or business administration or equivalent work experience; Master's degree preferred.
* Seven or more years of experience in information systems, with an emphasis on the requirements life cycle, development and testing.
* Experience leading testing efforts, and/or dedicated staff to complete significant systems design, testing and/or implementation.
* Knowledge of requirements analysis techniques and Agile methodologies (e.g. SAFe Scrum).
* Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent oral communication skills to lead meaningful and engaged review sessions with stakeholders.
* Effective networking skills and ability to build strong relationships with business stakeholders.
