The Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially sharp and operationally disciplined Head of Finance and People to join our senior leadership team. This high-impact role is responsible for the core internal operations of a complex, multi-venue organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be the organisation's senior resource across finance, governance, HR systems, compliance and administration. You'll work alongside our Heads of leadership team to provide the financial clarity, governance rigour, and operational systems that allow the whole team to perform at its best.

What we're looking for
* 8+ years of experience in a senior management role, preferably within the hospitality, leisure, or club industry
* Proven track record of successfully managing accounting operations, financial reporting, and budgeting processes
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business or a related field, and preferably a CPA or CA designation
* Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, including employment legislation and organisational policy alignment
* Proven ability to operate as a strategic business partner, contributing to organisational planning and aligning financial and people strategies
* Experience leading or supporting corporate services functions, including administration and business support services
* Ability to balance financial priorities with people and culture outcomes to drive overall business performance
* Demonstrated experience overseeing or partnering with Human Resources functions
* Experience working with HRIS/payroll or people systems, with the ability to leverage data to support workforce insights and decision-making
