Located approximately 45 minutes from Tamworth and covering around 1,918 hectares, this property combines irrigated and dryland cropping, fodder conservation, and elite cattle production.
With 366 hectares under 11 centre pivots, it plays a pivotal role in supplying Fullblood and Purebred Wagyu to a premium national beef brand.This is a leadership role for a seasoned farm manager with strong operational, livestock, and irrigation experience, contributing to a values-driven and innovative agricultural business.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Operational Management: Lead a motivated team focusing on safety, compliance, and performance.
Drive WHS culture and continuous improvement.
Manage budgets, operational costs, and infrastructure upgrades.Livestock & Wagyu Program: Oversee cattle backgrounding operations aligned with Wagyu supply chain protocols.
Monitor animal health, growth rates, and animal welfare standards.
Maintain accurate livestock records and traceability.Cropping & Irrigation Management: Manage cropping, pasture, and fodder production.
Operate and maintain centre pivot irrigation systems.
Collaborate with agronomists on seasonal planning and best practices.Property & Asset Oversight: Develop maintenance programs, ensure infrastructure and machinery are fit for purpose, and prepare reports on business performance.About YouYou are a hands-on, strategic agricultural leader with experience in livestock and cropping enterprises.
