Due to growth and some exciting upcoming projects, an opportunity has arisen for a talented Data Specialist to join the Melbourne team.
About the role
This newly created hands‐on role will be part of a small and highly skilled Transition team and will be responsible for analysing, mapping and using SQL scripts to load data into Transition and Production environments to a high quality, both on time and budget.
The Data Specialist will also ensure that all data transitions comply with the agreed standards and processes (including performance and scalability) throughout the life cycle.
Key Responsibilities are:
* Quality of data analysis, query and resolution and loading
* Feedback on the quality of communication to internal and external stakeholders
* Maintaining data migration standards and controls
* Ensure scalable approach is adopted
About You
You love data! You will ideally come from a Finance or Accounting background and possess 5+ years' experience with data reconciliations / transitions, preferably from within the Financial Services industry.
You have extensive SQL Server experience, data modelling, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
A highly energetic data specialist, you are tenacious and resilient, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You apply best practice and process in all situations to resolve issues while not compromising the integrity of the environment.
Your Skills and Experience
Previous experience as a Fund Services Data Specialist is highly desirable. Your experience combining analysis, mapping and SQL implementation of large scale back end or mission critical systems in a fast-paced environment will see you shortlisted for this sort after role.
* 5+ years Microsoft SQL Server experience
