Employing more than 350 staff, CMAX is a 78-bed clinical trials unit, with a database of more than 45,000 clinical trial participants, and utilising state-of-the-art facilities, we are primely positioned, opposite the Royal Adelaide Hospital and part of the Adelaide Bio Med City precinct.

About the role

CMAX is seeking a Data Assistants to work on a casual basis to be part of the data team who will provide support in the delivery of clinical data according to client specifications.

Reporting to the Data Manager, the focus of this role is quality control checking and data entry, this role will also involve query resolution on completion of training.

Desired experience/skills

Working knowledge of relevant standards, procedures and regulations, including ICH GCP;
Experience with quality control checking procedures/tasks requiring excellent attention to detail;
Experience with clinical trial EDC (Electronic Data Capture)/eCRFs (electronic Case Report Forms);
Exposure to technologies relating to eSource/DDC (Direct Data Capture);

Knowledge of medical terminology and/or experience working in a Health Care environment

Excellent attention to detail;
Computer competency; methodical and systematic;
Have flexibility for afternoon/evening shifts if required;
Ability to work on your own as well as contributing to team deadlines;
Have excellent interpersonal and team skills;
Ability to embrace and navigate a rapid-changing environment;

Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
