We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the effective day-to-day running of support services aimed at maximising the living, employment, social and recreational skills of people with a disability.
The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with team members to achieve individualised goals and promote community inclusion, independence, decision-making, and personal choice. They will also be able to communicate effectively with participants and team members from diverse backgrounds and groups.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others. If you have a Certificate III or above in Disability, and at least 1-year experience in the industry, we encourage you to apply.
About the Role:
* Support clients with complex mental health and clinical needs in personal care, medication administration, mealtime management, domestic duties, mobility assistance, and community participation
* Work collaboratively with team members to achieve individualised goals and promote community inclusion, independence, decision-making, and personal choice
* Communicate effectively with participants and team members from diverse backgrounds and groups
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies and procedures
* Comply with relevant regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
* Certificate III or above in Disability
* At least 1-year experience in the industry
* Able to start immediately
