You must have significant experience within a senior privacy or data protection role acquired in a complex, matrixed financial services organisation. Professional privacy qualifications such as Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) are highly regarded.
We are looking for demonstrated experience in designing and managing privacy programs, uplifting organisational maturity in this area, and developing and implementing internal controls, governance, policies, and procedures based on regulatory requirements. Experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives to ensure ongoing compliance is essential.
Responsibilities include:
1. Working with our Group Risk and Compliance team as Data Privacy Officer
2. Collaborating with the Chief Information Security Officer to ensure alignment between security and privacy compliance programs, including policies, practices, and reviews.
3. Designing, implementing, and maintaining a privacy risk management framework.
4. Promoting information privacy awareness and maturity across the organisation.
5. Supporting the continuous improvement and strengthening of key privacy standards and controls across divisions, leveraging extensive knowledge of industry best practices and Group policies.
