We are currently seeking a Permanent Remote Area Nurse to join one of our client's dedicated teams, delivering essential primary and emergency healthcare to communities that need it most.
About the Role As a Remote Area Nurse, you'll be the frontline provider delivering culturally safe, patient-centred care. You'll manage a wide scope of nursing responsibilities including:
* Acute and primary health care
* Chronic disease management
* Emergency response
* Health promotion and community engagement
* Working in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners and visiting clinicians

About You To thrive in this role, you will need:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Minimum 2 years' experience in remote or rural nursing, including emergency and primary care
* Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
* Cultural sensitivity and the ability to build trust in Indigenous communities
* Triage experience
Desirable:
* Remote Emergency Care (REC) or MEC
* Pharmacotherapeutics/4WD experience is a plus
* Immunisation certificate
