Overview
Link-Force AU is currently seeking experienced construction workers for a long-term marine project at Fremantle Port, starting 16 March. This major infrastructure project is expected to run for approximately 2 years, offering stable ongoing work for the right candidates. Work will be carried out in a marine port environment, so applicants must be able to obtain and hold a valid MSIC card. We will assist successful candidates with obtaining this if required.
Position Requirements
Marine Construction Project – Fremantle Port (2 Year Project)
Positions Required
We are currently seeking the following skilled workers:
* Formwork CarpentersExperience with formwork installation and concrete structures. Additional concrete experience is highly desirable.
* ConcretersExperience with:
o Receiving concrete from agitator trucks
o Working with line pumps
o Pouring footings and pile caps
o Finishing concrete (mag float finish)
* Steel Fixers / Reinforcement WorkersExperience with:
o Steel tying
o Bending and placing reinforcement
o Working with reinforcement for footings and pile caps
Ideal Candidates
We are open to multi-skilled construction workers. If you are experienced across formwork, concrete, and reinforcement, this would be highly valued.
Applicants should have:
* Construction site experience
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* Ability to work safely in a marine construction environment
* White Card (required)
* Ability to obtain an MSIC card
