Our NSW Glass Division, based in Smithfield, has an exciting opportunity for a Part‐Time Customer Service Officer to join the team. G. Role
We are seeking a motivated Customer Service Officer ("30 hours per week") to support our internal branches across New South Wales. In this part‐time role, you'll be responsible for managing orders, monitoring lead times, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, branches and production teams.
Responsibilities
- Raise, track, and manage orders to ensure timely delivery
- Communicate both verbally and in written form to customers – external and internal
- Communicate with internal teams regarding lead times, order progress, and overdue items
- Maintain accurate order records and generate reports for branch management
- Collaborate with production and logistics to resolve order‐related issues
- Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks to support the team
Qualifications
- Customer service experience in manufacturing, industrial, or related environments preferred
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem‐solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Office 365 and experience with ERP or CRM systems is desirable
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- A proactive mindset with a drive to continuously improve processes and support colleagues
