We are seeking a seasoned Insurance Broker to join our team. As a key member of the client-facing team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients with high-value insurance needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of clients with varying insurance requirements, ensuring their needs are proactively identified and addressed.
* Relationship Building: Develop and maintain close working relationships with stakeholders, including insurance markets and distribution partners, to support client outcomes and business objectives.
* Insurance Advice: Provide expert advice to clients on insurance products, policy terms, conditions, risks covered, premium rates and benefits, recommending suitable solutions aligned with each client's unique risk profile.
* Claim Management: Ensure timely and favorable settlement of claims by coordinating with internal Claims Department or Insurer Claims Officer.
* Team Development: Contribute to the growth and development of team members by sharing expertise, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 7 years' experience in insurance broking within the financial services industry, with exposure to Australian and international insurance markets.
* Knowledge of insurance products, including Industrial Special Risks (ISR) and General Liability lines, and a solid understanding of legislative obligations and claim processes.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to work effectively across key applications.
* Diploma of Insurance Broking or equivalent tertiary education preferred.
