About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive professional to lead the development and management of operational risk systems for the Water section. This pivotal role involves overseeing compliance with critical legislative and regulatory requirements, including dam safety, high-risk tasks, and environmental standards. You will facilitate risk reviews, coordinate group risk assessments, and produce high-quality supporting documentation.
As a key advisor, you’ll champion risk management tools, deliver training, and ensure strategic and operational documentation meets ISO14001/9001 EMS/QMS and NATA 17025 certification standards. Responsibilities include audit preparation and participation, managing corrective actions, monitoring compliance activities, and advising on legislative changes. You will also lead document control processes, develop training packages, and provide technical support to ensure best practice across all operational areas.

About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Comprehensive knowledge of quality management systems, including experience developing and implementing systems to comply with the requirements of ISO9001, 14001, 17025 etc. to achieve and maintain certification.
- Tertiary qualifications in business administration, risk management, and/or project management.
- Substantial experience in a similar position that includes technical and process writing, quality control and risk management experience for a large, diverse organisation.
- High level of proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products, including, MS Viso, MS Project, PDF Writer
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency in document managements systems, including Paradigm.
- Ability to conduct audits, prepare audit reports and present audit findings.
- Current “C” class driver’s licence.
