About the Role
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate the daily operation of the school canteen and oversee the preparation of food a nd counter services.
Identify stock requirements and place orders with appropriate vendors on a regular basis.
Participate in regular stocktake, recording and reporting processes.
Maintain accurate and appropriate records for the canteen and associated catering operations including filing of ordering, receipt and associated documentation.
Liaise with suppliers to maximise earning potential for the school.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Experience in food preparation, retail, or hospitality management (school tuckshop experience desirable).
Strong leadership and teamwork skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate volunteers.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A commitment to providing a friendly, inclusive, and efficient service to students and staff.
An understanding of budgeting, stock control, and cash handling procedures.
A positive attitude and the ability to adapt to a busy school environment.
Mandatory Requirements
Working with Children Check (Blue Card) - must be current prior to commencement.
Food Safety Certificate (Food Handling competency).
