PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES not limited to:
* Monitor and maintain networked user configurations and reconfigure as required
* Monitor helpdesk system and manage calls appropriately
* Liaise between IT staff and Australian end users, implementing standardised procedures, principles, projects and access for electronic documentation storage and usage
* Perform Windows desktop operating systems maintenance and support
* Troubleshoot end-user problems and escalate if required
* Perform any other tasks assigned in Information Technology area
* Comply with all health and safety, quality assurance and all other company policies and procedures
Other Responsibilities and Authorities
* Develop and implement training in applications, network operations and remote access
* Troubleshoot network and end-user problems
* Supervise central office services, including printing and copying facilities
* Responsible for Mobile Telephony
* Recommend improvements in related processes and procedures
* Maintain, with other IT staff and Management, regular review and update of the Information and Communications Technology policy
* Perform any other tasks assigned in Information Technology area
* Exercise authorities as outlined in company policy and procedure
* Comply with all health and safety, quality assurance and all other company policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Preferably we would like a person that has:
* Tertiary qualifications in IT (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to grasp the broad view and anticipate or research cause & effect
* Demonstrated high standard of IT customer service to internal and external customers
* Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to influence others without reliance on authority or position
* Ability to prioritise own time and delegate work to meet deadlines and achieve goals
* Demonstrated high standard of team-orientated performance, professionalism and attention to detail
* Willingness to take action beyond specific explicit position responsibilities
