About the Role
Techforce has multiple projects and roles on offer for DrillFitters, whether your niche is Surface Blast Hole, Diamond Core, Production or Exploration, and you know your way around OEMs such as Epiroc, Sandvik, Atlas Copco, Boart Longyear, Swick, Schramm and more.
Responsibilities
Perform rebuilds, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a range of surface or underground drill rigs and associated support equipment.
Carry out component inspections, overhauls, and assemblies in line with OEM specifications and site standards.
Conduct fault diagnosis and troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with OEM guidelines and mine site procedures.
Work collaboratively with maintenance teams to achieve equipment availability and reliability targets.
Maintain accurate service and repair documentation to support reporting and compliance requirements.

$85–$99 per hour flat rate, Weekly pay, Online timesheets.
Schedules include 2:1, 2:2, 8:6 FIFO & DIDO options.
Point of hire: Perth, Western Australia.
Work with Tier 1 & 2 companies as well as smaller family-owned businesses throughout Western Australia.
Field service and workshop maintenance available.

Local workshop positions available in Perth for those who prefer not to work away.
What you Need
Minimum 3 years' experience working on drills.
Experience with Sandvik, Epiroc, Atlas Copco, Swick, Schramm or CAT drills is essential.
Strong can-do attitude and clear communication at all times.
Cert III Engineering – Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate (or similar).
Valid Australian Driver's licence.
Full Unlimited Australian Working Rights.
Able to pass a lab drug & alcohol screen and a pre-employment medical.
National Police Clearance.
