Pivotal delivery role leading commercial fitout and refurb projects across VIC/QLD with a growing commercial builder.
Verra are representing another key client with a growing presence in Melbourne. They are known for delivering high-quality fitout, refurbishment and adaptive reuse projects across hospitality, retail, medical and commercial sectors.
This is a business that thrives on technically detailed work. Heritage restorations, live retail retrofits, medical fitouts and complex refurbishment projects. They also deliver various new‐build projects, with most of their work typically ranging from $3m-$15m.
The successful PM will initially support a project in Queensland, requiring travel approximately 4 days per fortnight until June/July. The project involves delivering an additional 30 hotel rooms constructed above an existing operational car park for a key national client.
There is a highly dependable and experienced Site Manager already leading the project on the ground. Your role will focus on commercial oversight, coordination, stakeholder interface and ensuring smooth delivery alongside the existing team.
Beyond this initial project, you will form part of a key position within an expanding team in VIC. You will also be supported by a hands‐on director who is genuinely invested in your growth and the performance you can bring to his team.
What your day-to-day looks like
* Full ownership of program, budget and overall project delivery outcomes
* Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiations and contract administration (variations, EOTs, claims)
* Driving detailed sequencing and coordination in live or operational environments
* Leading client and consultant communication, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
* Proactively identifying and managing commercial risk and project financial performance
What we need from you
* Proven Project Manager experience with a commercial builder in AUS
* Strong background in fitout, refurbishment or adaptive reuse
* Comfortable managing live environments and stakeholder-heavy builds
* Commercially astute with strong subcontractor management capability
* Open to structured travel requirements in the short term
