This is a 12-hour rotating shift role.
What will you do?
The incumbent will support sitewide routine operation and maintenance (ad hoc, corrective, and preventive maintenance) of utility systems such as steam boilers, air compressors, chillers & cooling towers, air handling units, water softeners, purified water (RO & WFI), and wastewater systems. They may also support power reset for electrical distribution systems. All tasks will be performed in compliance with cGMP, EHS, Data Integrity, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
* Participate in problem-solving discussions with multi-functional teams to identify root causes, evaluate solutions, and develop action plans.
* Complete routine maintenance in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, quality, and safety procedures.
* Complete training to enhance competencies.
* Contribute to team efforts by achieving KPIs and providing training and coaching to colleagues.
* Support third-party vendors performing maintenance activities.
* Ensure all GMP documentation related to maintenance activities is completed accurately and in compliance with data integrity requirements.
* Perform any other duties assigned by the utilities engineer.
How will you get here?
Education
* NITEC or Diploma in Engineering-related qualifications.
Experience
* Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
* First-class boiler attendant certification.
